The Latvian National Opera presents a moving performance of Penderecki's Polish Requiem under the baton of Modestas Pitrenas.

14 June is one the saddest days in Latvian history; to commemorate the date, requiem by a remarkable composer is traditionally performed at the Riga Opera Festival Concert. This time it will be A Polish Requiem by outstanding contemporary Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki.
