Ravel, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky: Jonathan Biss & Konzerthausorchester Berlin
Sobre o Evento
Pianist Jonathan Biss joins the Konzerthausorchester Berlin to perform favorites by Ravel, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky.
Ravel's "Ma mère l'oye" was originally written as a piano duet for Mimi and Jean Godebski, aged 6 and 7, and consists of five pieces inspired by fairy tales. A year later the composer orchestrated the suite, and that is the version that will be heard in this concert. It is paired with a Beethoven piano sonata (one of Biss's fortés) and Tchaikovsky's 5th symphony.
