Die Hauptstadttenöre — VERGNÜGTE ZEITEN

Sobre o Evento

A special highlight at the end of the year is the concert programme 'Vergnügte Zeiten' ('Pleasant Times'), with which the capital's choirs 'between the Years' enthuse their audiences. Since 2009, the three singers, accompanied by conductor and pianist Ronald Herold, have made a name for themselves on the Spree with idiosyncratic interpretations of the most famous arias from opera, operetta and popular film hits as well as extremely entertaining and tongue‐in‐cheek presentations. Since then, their colourful programmes have been a constant source of surprises: For just as special as the capital itself are the arrangements of the three tenors themselves, who have an excellent understanding of Berlin's wit and directness.
In this programme they present evergreens like 'Untern Linden', 'Dein ist mein ganzes Herz' and of course 'Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus' as well as unique interpretations of great opera classics like 'Nessun dorma', 'E lucevan le stelle' or 'O sole mio'. Their comprehensive range from light muse to classical, authentically and humorously brought to the stage, as well as their knowledge of the subtle nuances, make up the charm of the capital's choirs.
