Waiting — Peer Gynt from Solveig’s point of view: Tivoli Concert Hall
Sobre o Evento
Get ready for a special opera experience of this year’s 'Summer Classical' at Tivoli Concert Hall.
Waiting is a symphonic Passion to the music of Edvard Grieg. The modern Solveig in a poetic novella forms a backdrop for the performance. The famous Catalan director Calixto Bieito is renowned for his innovative productions of famous works.
Norwegian soprano Mari Eriksmoen embodies Solveig, accompanied by Tivoli Copenhagen Phil and sixteen singers from DKDM Chamber Choir under the baton of Eivind Gullberg Jensen.
And Peer? He may turn up, but in an uncredited role.
Waiting is an international co‐production. After the world premiere in Bergen it will tour the Nordic countries and Europe.
