Verdi's 'Un Ballo in Maschera' will be performed by five singers in costumes, accompanied by piano, in the intimate setting of St. Mark's English Church.

Riccardo, Governor of Boston, has fallen in love with Amelia, the wife of his secretary and best friend Renato. After a visit to a fortune teller, a masked ball becomes the scene of a fight against conspirators, including Renato, who seek to kill Riccardo. Renato drives the blade into Riccardo, who forgives his friend nonetheless.
