Treat yourself to an intimate performance of one of Mozart's most entertaining works: Five singers in costume perform The Marriage of Figaro with piano accompaniment, in the Anglican Church of Florence.
Figaro is marrying Susanna. Both are servants of the Count Almaviva, who has an eye on Susanna. The Countess is not at all amused by the escapades of her husband, and she traps the Count with the help of Susanna.
Each act will be explained in English.

Natürlich ist die auf 5 Personen und das Klavier reduzierte Oper etwas besonderes — um nicht zu sagen bescheiden. Doch wir haben den Abend genossen und uns an lustigen Details, den guten Stimmen und dem Arrangement gefreut.

Bravissimi gli artisti, ottima l'acustica e la sceneggiatura. Il contesto è molto suggetivo. Molto carente, purtroppo, la disposizione dei posti che non permetteva a tutti di godere dello spettacolo allo stesso modo. Dai posti che occupavo io si vedeva malissimo, costringendomi a spostarmi continuamente e ad allungare il collo per evitare le teste delle persone davanti a me. Inoltre non ho compreso la distribuzione dei posti agli spettatori, visto che il prezzo pagato era uguale per tutti e senza la possibilità di scegliere, nè al momento dell'acquisto, nè all'arrivo allo spettacolo. Mi piacerebbe tornare a vedere uno spettacolo alla Chiesa Anglicana ma questo inconveniente dei posti mi scoraggia… vorrei sapere come si ottengono i posti migliori…
