From 2015 to 2017, the Festival d’Aix‐en‐Provence offers a performance cycle that sheds light on the genius of Igor Stravinsky's work. This season, in collaboration with choreographer Karole Armitage, Esa‐Pekka Salonen leads the Philharmonia Orchestra in an event that brings together dance and music.
Armitage, who has worked with the likes of Madonna and Michael Jackson, here interprets Stravinsky's groundbreaking 20th century compositions.
