Meet the winner of the 2015 International Chopin Competition as he makes his Carnegie Hall debut.

Two minor key Sonatas by Schumann and Berg begin Cho's program. Fittingly, Chopin's 24 Preludes — one in every key — take center stage in the second half of the concert. Chopin's cycle redefined the genre, long dominated by Bach, breathing new life into the single‐movement, brief piano composition, as each successive generation of pianists breathes new life into the art of pianism.
