The Staatskapelle Weimar, one of the greatest German orchestras, will play two key romantic pieces under the baton of Antonio Méndez: Symphony No. 2 by Rachmaninoff and the Violin Concert by Beethoven, the only one written by the composer for this musical instrument, with Viviane Hagner as a soloist on the violin.
