Oboist François Leleux: Concert in Pierre Boulez Saal
Sobre o Evento
Duos and trios, compositions of French and German origin, youthful pieces and late works—the program that French oboist François Leleux has curated for the Pierre Boulez Saal offers a variety of connections and contrasts. Beethoven’s 1797 “Gassenhauer” Trio (heard here with the oboe taking the place of the clarinet) and Poulenc’s Sonata for Oboe and Piano, written in 1962 a few months before the composer’s death, provide the historical cornerstones.
