Deixe o brilho e a beleza da obra final de Mozart inundá-lo no requintado monumento barroco de Viena, a Igreja de São Carlos (Karlskirche). Konstantin Hiller dirige a Sociedade de Concertos de Salzburgo e a Orquestra 1756 numa actuação do Réquiem de Mozart.
A obra‐prima musical de Mozart expressa as fases emocionais da convulsão, medo, esperança e salvação — todas as emoções que sitiaram Mozart enquanto compunha o Réquiem durante as últimas semanas da sua vida. Wonderful rendition of Mozart’s Requiem and the acoustics were amazing. Also, the blankets were a wonderful touch since it did get rather cold in the winter evening. Absolutely lovely evening. :)

Eher "breiiger" Klang. Der kleine Chor und v.a. die Solisten (ausser Sopran) kamen klanglich schlecht übers Orchester hinweg. Vielleicht fing sich der Klang auch zu sehr im Chorraum. Der Chor wirkte nicht ganz Ganzes, sondern Einzelstimmen waren herauszuhören (v.a. Tenor). Die Zugabe war besser, da die 4 Solisten dann vor dem Orchester sangen.
