The summer event 'Hellerau meets Internationals', which combines cultural and culinary diversity, takes place this year as a coproduction with the Dresden Music Festival.

'Hellerau meets England' is the leitmotif when London Brass appears in the workshop courtyard of the Deutsche Werkstätten, bringing its famous luscious sound. The musicians of this ensemble are members of the best British orchestras, collaborating with colleagues who work regularly with artists like Paul McCartney and Sting. This virtuosic mixture is reflected in their repertoire too. Now, the ten musicians perform at Hellerau, a garden city whose visionary concept of a unity between living and working, culture and education was 'imported' from England to Dresden by its founder Karl Schmidt.
