Leonidas Kavakos & Yuja Wang: Brahms, Salle Pleyel
Sobre o Evento
A magnificent alliance between the great Greek violinist and the flamboyant young virtuoso pianist! Neither of these performers requires further introduction.
The first of Brahms' three sonatas, written in 1878 in 1878, is a warmly passionate one often called the Regensonate; this, however, is not a tumultuous rainstorm; the name comes from Brahms' use of material from an earlier song (op. 59). The second and third sonatas, which Brahms penned in the Swiss mountains in 1886, provide both the serenity and the ardor for which Brahms is beloved.
