The second rookie in this season's Master Pianists Series is the exceptionally talented British‐Taiwanese pianist Kit Armstrong.

This young soloist was described by his teacher Alfred Brendel as the greatest talent he had ever encountered and also as the ideal Bach interpreter. His flawless technique and especially intuitive musicality brings him deeply in touch with the music, both analytically and emotionally. Armstrong has a soft spot for baroque and classical works. This debut program at the Concertgebouw features Bach's Goldberg Variations.
