A dream ensemble performs Bach's Christmas Oratorio in Paris.

Written for Christmas 1734, this oratorio contains six parts, each of which was intended to be performed on a particular date. Bach reused music from cantatas – many of them secular – which he had composed for other occasions, giving them new texts and refashioning them for the occasion.
