Hear two world‐class countertenors in a neglected baroque gem.

Max Emanuel‐Cencič is renowned for his soaring high notes, and his exploration of the works bel canto composers such as Rossini and Bellini wrote for the last popular castrati. Franco Fagioli rocketed to fame only a few years ago, after starring in a production of Vinci's Artaserse, singing the virtuosic (and incredibly high) aria "Vo solcando un mar crudele". They appear together in Siroe, by Hasse, sure to contain arias that show each of them off to great effect.
