Become part of an exceptional presentation with Handel's "Water Music" and Haydn's "Surprise Symphony".
King George I. loved to listen to Handel's work while being on pleasure cruises on the Thames. The deep and full sound of the second suite was perfectly suited for the presentation on water, but despite the fact that the work was especially composed for the King's boat cruises it is a popular composition for other locations as well.
Haydn's Surprise Symphony is just as exceptional. Composed during Haydn's trip to London the work holds an acoustic surprise for the listener.
