Stockhausen's iconic work brings together three orchestras, and assigns them music that previously belonged to the world of electronic composition. Originally conducted by Stockhausen himself, Pierre Boulez, and Bruno Maderna, three new conductors take up the challenge in a concert which also offers works by Bernd Aloïs Zimmermann and Jonathan Harvey.
