Barrie Kosky’s acclaimed production of the classic musical returns to the Komische Oper Berlin with theatre legends Max Kopp and Dagmar Manzel as the milkman and his long‐suffering wife, whose life in the little shtetl of Anatevka, defined by the unchanging bounds of ‘Tradition!’, will be turned upside down by the unstoppable march of time. Children grow to adulthood, regimes alter, yet life – and love — must keep their balance, like a Fiddler on the Roof.
