Wang Fujian, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, will be in Hong Kong again to conduct the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra at Tsuen Wan Town Hall.

The concert programme includes the pipa concerto Young Sisters of the Grassland and the erhu and Orchestra Decoding the Dream, which will be performed by pipa virtuoso from Jiangnan, Tang Xiaofeng, and the HKCO’s own erhu musician, Xu Hui; Guo Wenjing’s Riding on the Wind for Thousands of Miles, Gu Guanren’s Three Friends in the Winter Cold and Liu Changyuan’s Variation of Emotions will be performed by the Orchestra under the baton of Wang Fujian.
