On a desolate shore by the Irish Sea, a broken Sir Tristan lies wounded and betrayed. He grasps at dreams, sighs with pain, and prays for the one thing that can still redeem him – the allconsuming love of his adored Isolde. Richard Wagner didn’t just write operas: he created worlds.
