The fast‐rising young German‐Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott will play Grieg’s popular Piano Concerto in A minor, with Osmo Vänskä, the expert on Nordic music, conducting the SSO. Enjoy Ott’s dazzling technique and wonderfully varied tone. The second half is equally tempting, with the most famous composition of the French romantic composer Berlioz, Symphonie fantastique, a work of dreams and passions.
