Pianist Alexei Volodin performs selected works by Rachmaninoff and Chopin at the Royal Brussels Conservatory.

Alexei Volodin, recognised as one of the greats for some years now, plays the most beautiful music of Chopin and Rachmaninov. 'Very human and moving interpretations of Chopin's most beautiful works,' was how the classical‐music magazine Luister described Volodin's 2010 CD. And he has continued in the same vein: his latest CD is entirely devoted to that other great composer for the piano, Rachmaninoff.
