Após duas décadas, o maestro Marko Letonja regressa ao Auditório, apresentando um programa que entrelaça dois elementos‐chave da música sinfónica: a Quarta Sinfonia de Beethoven, rica em ideais heróicos, e o talento dramático de Strauss. O programa apresenta duas obras‐primas do ilustre compositor austríaco: a Suíte de Die Frau ohne Schatten, um ponto alto da colaboração com Hugo von Hofmannsthal, e os Vier letzte Lieder. A despedida profunda e fervorosa de Strauss captura sua última reverência ao mundo musical, demonstrando sua habilidade excepcional em transmitir emoções humanas profundas.

Making its home in Milan's Auditorio, La Verdi features among Europe's most respected and admired symphonic ensembles. Its first Musical Director, Ricardo Chailly, now holds the title of Conductor Laureate, while the Austrian conductor, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, a fast‐rising star in the orchestral firmament took over the role of Musical Director in 2024, following in the footsteps of several major names in the classical world. La Verdi welcomes a starry roster of soloists and guest conductors over the course of an extensive and varied annual season, and regularly features as guests of honour at important state occasions and international concert engagements. |
