Mehta's honeyed timbre and charismatic presence have made him the countertenor of choice across a wide range of repertoire, from the Baroque to the brand new, such as George Benjamin's 'Written on Skin'. Here singing works by Bach, Gluck, Mozart, and Hasse, Mehta is joined by the renowned chamber orchestra, specialists in the music of this period.
