Orquestra

The orchestra, formed in 1996, specialises in the choral music of the 17th and 18th centuries and has worked with the likes of Nikolaus Harnoncourt, William Christie and Ádám Fischer. La Scintilla's leader and concertmaster is Ada Pesch, a former student of Josef Gingold. She is also director of the Ernen Baroque Music Festival in Switzerland and a teacher at the Juilliard Music School in New York.
