The outstanding Joan Kukuzel Choir will give this festive concert at the end of the Bulgarian EU Council Presidency. Since its foundation in 1967, the choir has presented the music of Orthodoxy all over the world. In St. Stephen's Cathedral they have never been heard before.

Over the decades, the choir has developed an extensive repertoire from the ancient and oldest liturgical songs of Bulgaria and has presented this valuable legacy of Bulgaria and Europe in performances all over the world. The choir is a regular guest at the international festivals for early music. His performances in Paris, Avignon, Edinburgh, Bydgoszcz, Czestochowa, Rome, Haynuvka, Prague, Krakow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novi Sad, Belgrade made him world famous.

At the end of June Bulgaria will hand over the EU Presidency to the Republic of Austria and invite to this extraordinary concert in St. Stephen's Cathedral.
