Experience Smetana's homage to his home country performed by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Paavo Järvi.
Smetana's composition consists of six symphonic poems which depict the topics of countryside, mythology and history. Every year Smetana's work opens the Prague Spring International Music Festival on the 12th April, the anniversary of the composers death.
