Lorenzo Viotti conducts Mahler's Symphony No. 1

The Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest, the Koor van De Nationale Opera and soprano Erin Morley perform music by Poulenc and Mahler under the baton of Lorenzo Viotti in the prestigious Concertgebouw.

When Lorenzo Viotti took office as chief conductor, he had a heart's desire: to give a concert every year with both the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Opera Chorus. In his first concert of the season, that wish will come true with Poulenc's Gloria. Viotti also explores the depths of Mahler's grandiose First Symphony.
