Ibrahim Maalouf, Homage to Maurice André: Théâtre des Champs‐Elysées
Over het evenement
The famed trumpet player, Ibrahim Maalouf, conducts an ensemble of brilliant musicians for an homage to classical trumpet player Maurice André.
Maalouf, who won several prizes in major international trumpet competitions, is one of the most popular trumpeters of our time. He was deeply influenced by Maurice André, who became famous in the 1960s and 1970s for his recordings of Baroque works on piccolo trumpet and also was Maalouf's father's teacher. For this evening, Ibrahim Maalouf will offer new versions of Maurice André's favorite pieces.
