Zhu Xiao‐Mei: Palau de la Música Catalana

One of the most renowned interpreters of Bach's music, Chinese pianist Zhu Xiao‐Mei performs the Goldberg Variations for a Barcelona audience. Zhu Xiao‐Mei has a personal relationship with the work, which stood at the beginning of her successful international career, twice recording the Goldberg Variations, once at Bach's grave in St. Thomas Church in Leipzig. Her interpretation has also been the subject of an exquisite documentary by Michel Mollard.
