Tous les Matins du Monde : Savall, Pierlot, Lislevand and Hantaï
Over het evenement
The famous Baroque music specialist, Jordi Savall, is joined by an extraordinary ensemble, including harpsichordist Pierre Hantaï, for a concert in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the cult movie "Tous les Matins du Monde".
In 1991, Alain Corneau's movie, telling the life of Monsieur de Sainte‐Colombe and his pupil Marin Marais, revealed the beauty and complexity of music during the reign of Louis XIV. The music of the film was adapted and performed by Jordi Savall and eminent musicians such as Monserrat Figueras and Mari‐Cristina Kiehr (sopranos), Christophe Coin and Jérôme Hantaï (viola da gamba), Rolf Lislevand (theorbo) and Pierre Hantaï (harpsichord and organ). Several of the original artists will join Jordi Savall for this very special evening at the Salle Gaveau.
