The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, an important orchestra based in the Austrian capital Vienna, is honoured with a festival in the Konzerthaus in December. For this reason, the family concert of the Konzerthausorchester is dedicated to this music metropolis. Musically, the programme focuses on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig von Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms and Johann Strauss, as well as on an instrument that these composers all mastered well — the piano.
