The Hilliard Ensemble are preeminent participants of the English choral scene; members are equally committed to early and new music, traditional and experimental performance modes. Maintaining a concert schedule with more than a hundred dates a year, the ensemble are frequent guests of the most prestigious festivals in Europe and overseas. In 2014, the group performs its final concerts before retiring.
The Hilliard Ensemble have a close working relationship with Estonian composer of world‐renown Arvo Pärt, and will sing some of his pieces at their Budapest concert.
