This three‐day festival inspired by the jazz city of New Orleans is enjoying its seventh highly successful year of connecting the dots between traditional jazz and swing.

Travelling the smallest distance geographically but the furthest back in time are Thomas Gansch & The Dixieland All Stars from Austria. Gansch’s name is not only familiar to fans of traditional jazz, as for years he strengthened the ranks of the Vienna Art Orchestra. This big band founded by Mathias Rüegg grew to become one of the leading orchestras of its kind in Europe and was renowned both for its interpretations of the avant‐garde and its respect for the traditions of classical jazz.
