Teatro dell’Opera di Roma Ballet & Eleonora Abbagnato: Théâtre des Champs‐Elysées

Over het evenement

Witness the poignant homage of ballerina Eleonora Abbagnato to her mentor Roland Petit, with this performance of his ballet 'La Chauve‐souris', based on Strauss''Die Fledermaus'.

It was Petit who discovered the young Eleonora Abbagnato and it was also after a performance of Petit's 'Carmen' that the dancer was named Étoile at the Paris Opera Ballet. In 2015, she was appointed director of the corps de ballet of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, that she will direct for this very special evening.
