In "La Guerre de Trente ans" the Ricercar Consort performs works by Heinrich Schütz, Samuel Scheidt, Johann Hermann Schein and Franz Tunder.

The European identity is something that took shape over the centuries. Philippe Pierlot takes a look at one of the major milestones in that process: the Thirty Years War, which tore the continent apart between 1618 and 1648. Its conclusion laid the foundation stones of religious tolerance in Europe.
