Join Russian piano virtuoso Denis Matsuev and the Concertgebouw Orchestra for a musical journey.

Many composers have tried their hand at writing a Rhapsody, and some of the results are still among the most popular works in the repertoire: Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies have popped up in film and TV (including the adventures of a famous cartoon cat and mouse!), Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue is still the best known junction between jazz and classical music, and Chabrier's España was one of conductor Thomas Beecham's musical "lollipops".

Denis Matsuev joined the Concertgebouw Orchestra on their South American tour in 2013, and returns for this musical trip through some other lands with Chief Conductor Mariss Jansons.
