The second of Stravinsky's three ballets for Diaghilev, Petrushka is easily the most engaging. Also written for the Parisian Ballets Russes, Stravinsky called Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe "one of the most beautiful works in all of French music."

And to round out the program, Alexandre Tharaud rests his right hand in the appealing last concerto of Ravel.
