Indulge in the crème de la crème of Russian music. The legendary Gennady Rozhdestvensky conducts the Russian National Orchestra in Shostakovich and Prokofiev, and welcomes the equally renowned Mikhail Pletnev for Scriabin's Concerto for piano and orchestra.

The last of a generation that defined Russian music‐making for much of the 20th Century, Rozhdestvensky brings a sure touch to both the sparkling 'Classical Symphony' and Shostakovich's celebratory Ninth. Pletnev joins him to explore the dreamy ardor of Scriabin's emotion‐filled Concerto.
