Even a classic like 'Romeo and Juliet' can be a new discovery, especially when it is set to the musical versions by Hector Berlioz and Sergei Prokofiev. Violist and composer Brett Dean will inspire you as the soloist of his own virtuoso viola concerto. Kazushi Ono, principal conductor of the Opéra National de Lyon and Grammy winner 2012 will lead the Tonkünstler Orchestra in Grafenegg.

The Grafenegg Festival presents a top‐class program of concerts with renowned orchestras, conductors and international star‐soloists. This year, enjoy a series of concerts including musical journeys to South America, swing music, highlights of the romantic period and unforgettable fireworks. On mild summer evenings, performances are in the open; in poor weather, the Auditorium opens its doors.
