A festive New Year's concert featuring talented students from the Conservatory of Amsterdam playing Renaissance music and improvisations. There will be spectacularly large recorders and virtuosic music by Jacob van Eyck, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and Josquin de Prez. The concert will be given an extra charge by loudspeakers installed in the church especially for this occasion, providing a multimedia listening experience. Together with Erik, Jorrit Tamminga, head of composition at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, is responsible for these special soundscapes.
