First Prize Winner in the 2011 Concert Artists Guild competition, Naomi O’Connell will present a collection of songs she calls Words to Love and Live By, including Barber’s “Sure on This Shining Night” and Bernstein’s “Dream With Me.”

Irish mezzo‐soprano and Juilliard graduate Naomi O’Connell, recently hailed by the New York Times as a "radiant mezzo‐soprano," deftly balances her love of opera with that of art song, musical theater and popular song.

Young artists perform at the "Tuesday Matinees" series at Merkin Concert Hall in the heart of New York City. Get to know some of the brightest young classical stars from around the world at one of New York’s favorite venues for chamber music and solo performances.
