The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra gave its Austrian debut at the Grafenegg Festival in 2011. Under its internationally celebrated Music Director Myung‐Whun Chung, the leading Korean orchestra returns to perform classics from the repertoire.

Beethoven’s powerful Piano Concerto in C minor and Tchaikovsky’s pinnacle of Romanticism, the «Pathétique» Symphony. Already well on the way to reaching the Olympic heights of piano superstardom is Sunwook Kim, who at 18 was the first Asian to win the renowned Leeds Piano Competition and who is appearing at Grafenegg with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
