Mozart and French Baroque Music: Chamber Music Series
Over het evenement
Enjoy a programme with works by Mozart, Couperin and Charpentier with the ensembles Musica Humana, the Vilnius State Choir and soloists.
This season Musica humana focuses on Mozart’s 220th death anniversary. The programme features Mozart’s Concerto for flute, harp and orchestra in C major and Symphony No 32 in G major. French baroque will be represented by Couperin (somewhat unexpected choice – Mass for organ in G major – reminds us that he was not only harpsichordist, but also an organist at the Saint‐Gervais Church in Paris) and Charpentier’s Te Deum.
