Together with the Vienna Phiharmonic Orchestra, Lorin Maazel commemorates Richard Wagner's 200th birthday with works by the composer. After the 'Siegfried Idyll' the orchestra and renowned singers Eva‐Maria Westbroek, Peter Seiffert and Matti Salminen will perform the first act of the 'Valkyrie' — this performance is certainly one of the highlights of this year's festival.

The Grafenegg Festival presents a top‐class program of concerts with renowned orchestras, conductors and international star‐soloists. This year, enjoy a series of concerts including musical journeys to South America, swing music, highlights of the romantic period and unforgettable fireworks. On mild summer evenings, performances are in the open; in poor weather, the Auditorium opens its doors.
