Lenka Korbelová Piano Recital: Prague Proms Festival

Born in Chrudim, Czech Republic, the 21‐year‐old pianist Lenka Korbelová received prizes at several piano competitions. Before starting her professional career, she won the second prize at the Prague Junior Note, and two third prizes at the Smetana Piano Competition and the Conservatories Contest. She began studying piano at the age of six, and today she belongs among the great talents of the Czech rising generation. No doubt, her recital at the Prague Proms festival will be another step on her journey to the world famous halls and music festivals. Works by Bach, Beethoven and Chopin are featured on her program at the Liechtenstein Palace.
