Experience El amor brujo, the most universal and captivating work by Manuel de Falla, performed by La Fura dels Baus at the Peralada Festival 2015.

El Amor Brujo is the most universal, the most glittering and the most enthusiastic work of Manuel de Falla. Because of this, a century later, this work continues to be modern in terms of the melodies and musical arrangements of Manuel de Falla, and in its passion subject matter, written by María de la O Lejárreja. From the opening chords, the work shines in all its glory, creates moulds and breaks with preconceived ideas. To mark the centenary of its creation, La Fura dels Baus, with Carlus Padrissa at the helm, has prepared a new theatrical version in which we can also hear excerpts from Noches en los Jardines de España, El Sombrero de Tres Picos, La Vida Breve and the song Amor Gitano to introduce the relationship between Candela and Carmelo. With a magical staging featuring water and fire, the physical strength of the body's movements, the power of smell and light, which, like love, can surpass all limits.

A combination of innovation, adaptation and rhythm in a new theatrical/musical show brimming with magic and witchcraft, told through the cinematic prism of José Val del Omar. La Fura dels Baus in their purest form.
