The Staatsoperette Dresden presents one of the world's best‐known musicals, "La Cage aux Folles", Jean Poiret's poignant comedy about life in a transvestite club.

Georges, owner of the club, "La Cage", and his partner Albin are the perfect couple, until Georges' son Jean‐Michel wants to marry the daughter of the chairman of the "Party for tradition, family and morals." When the parents‐in‐law to‐be meet for the first time the very foundations of both worlds are shaken.
