Kian Soltani is one of the most exciting cellists of his generation. Individuality, depth of expression and a charismatic stage presence have made him a sought‐after soloist on the world’s concert stages.
The programme at the Kleiner Schlosshof takes the musician back to his cultural roots. Together with Ensemble Shiraz, founded by Khosro Soltani – Kian Soltani’s father – he plays traditional Persian music, arrangements and compositions by both father and son, as well as works by Hossein Behroozinia.
